Thomas Thow Scholarship
The Thomas Thow Scholarship at the University of St Andrews was founded with £2,000 in 1897 by the Trustees of the late Miss Christiana Thow of Craigmore, West Ferry, near Dundee, according to the desire of Christiana Thow and her sister, Margaret Thow, in memory of their father, Thomas Thow, a Dundee solicitor.
