George Scott (d.1893)

He became the Managing Director of Charles Kinloch & Co, a wine, whisky and brandy merchants located on Backchurch Lane in London. Kinloch and Co.’s most distinctive product was dark rum, which they sold as ‘Liquid Sunshine’, the sugar for which was imported from Jamaica, Antigua and Guyana.
